In the end of november, I made a note that I was working on the application for the WorldWide student exchange programme. Yesterday people were getting excited during a break in the lecture. They had been drafted for the WorldWide student exchange programme. My own pulse started to race very fast when I tried to open the email containing the selected people. Luckily I didn’t have to read the whole mail since I heard my name being shouted from a nearby computer. I’m going to The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology or HKUST for short! Quoted from Wikipedia:
Since its official opening in 1991, the university has become one of the top universities in Hong Kong and is among the most prestigious in Asia. The Times Higher Education ranked HKUST 39th worldwide and 24th in technology.
There’s not much I know yet other than the fact that the exchange is spanning my forth year and will roughly cover 10 months. And that most people speak english since Hong Kong was a colony of England up until 1997.
